Easy No-Bake Chocolate Macaroons

Ingredients:
- 500ml (2 cups) granulated sugar
- 125ml (1/2 cup) butter
- 125ml (1/2 cup) milk
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 125ml (1/2 cup) fine shredded coconut
- 750ml (3 cups) oatmeal
Method:
- Combine the sugar, butter, milk and cocoa together in a large pot and bring to a boil for about 2 – 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Take pot off stove and add the coconut and oatmeal. Mix until everything is coated.
- Place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet by heaping tablespoon-full. To have these cookies ready quickly, cool in refrigerator or leave and let cool to room temperature.
Note: These cakes can be frozen in an airtight plastic container for about 2-3 months.
