Honey Baked Mustard Turkey

This recipe serves 10.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium-size turkey

Ingredients for Butter Honey Glaze Mix:

  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon rock salt
  • 1/2 block unsalted butter

Ingredients for Breadcrumbs Stuffing:

  • 250ml (1 cup) breadcrumbs
  • 50g Brie
  • 50g Camembert
  • 60g chestnuts
  • 35g mixed herbs, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons wholegrain mustard
  • 50g unsalted butter
  • Pinch of salt & pepper

Ingredients for Garnishing:

  • 60g whipping cream
  • 120 garden vegetables, pre-blanched

Method:

  1. Heat butter honey glaze mix in a pot.
  2. Combine all breadcrumbs ingredients together.  Stuff into turkey and spread with butter honey glaze.
  3. Pre-heat oven to 155 degrees Celsius and bake for 1 hour 10 minutes or until the turkey is cooked.
  4. Lightly heat cream with pre-blanched vegetables.  Serve with turkey.

    I love the idea of using the cheese in the stuffing. I bet it is going to taste delicious. I can’t wait to try it out for my Christmas dinner.
